Shared Writing

uring this first term, the students in classes J.3 to J.6 had the opportunity to participate in shared writing projects with their classmates during Fun English lessons. These projects were based on books that students had studied in previous classes.

 

• J3 wrote a short procedure about making a shadow puppet.
• J4 wrote a short article about a trip to a different planet.
• J5 wrote a biography of a chosen famous person.
• J6 studied different food from other countries and created their own food posters.

The students were very pleased to take part in these projects as it gave them a chance to collaborate with their classmates, and to be creative. The projects were very student-centred and allowed the students to take charge of their own learning. By working together with their classmates and friends, students were able to create incredible final pieces of work which reflect their capabilities and ambition.
